Banana & Egg White Pancakes…don’t mind if I do!

Okay this has got to be one of the simplest recipes, and quite tasty!

Take one ripe banana & mash it up in a bowl!

Mix in two egg whites.

Add a dash of cinnamon & nutmeg.

Mix & then pour into hot sprayed pan like you do regular pancakes. I prefer to use a little coconut oil or EVOO.

Enjoy! Do NOT burn…they won’t taste very good that way. 😉

Oatmeal Pancakes

This is my own personal recipe for healthy oatmeal pancakes…

Grind 1/2 cup steel cut oats.

4 egg whites & 1/2 cup Nonfat plain Greek yogurt

1/4 tsp. of vanilla

1/4 tsp. of baking powder

Cinnamon to taste

A pinch of salt

Stir all ingredients together in bowl

Divide evenly into 6 pancakes

Cook on hot griddle…be careful not to burn them.

I love to add a T. of light whipped cream & some berries. Yum!

Serves two…three pancakes for each person. 211 calories & 19 g of protein per serving & very filling! This is definitely my go-to breakfast.  It has been one of the keys to my successful weightloss.  I love it!
