In the very beginning of my weight loss journey I was making VERY small changes. For example:

Drink, Drink, Drink your water! I know you always hear this, but it really is true & helped me a lot.

Get moving! Even if it’s just 10 minutes a day. When I first started I was walking the length of my house inside, because it was cold & rainy. I would walk/jog back & forth after my kids were in bed for the night. 😉 I didn’t have a gym membership, so that’s just what I did.

My typical eating plan is:

5-6 “meals” per day, about every 2-3 hours

BREAKFAST: Protein smoothie or egg whites with spinach, or my oatmeal pancakes.

Snack 1: Fruit with a healthy fat (nuts, 1 T. peanut butter, egg yolks, coconut oil)

LUNCH: Salad with lean protein (fish or chicken) & a complex carb (brown rice, whole wheat noodles, quinoa, sweet potato)

Snack 2: Fruit with a healthy fat

DINNER: Green Veggies/Salad, lean protein again & complex carb

EXERCISE: Right now for exercise I am doing an exercise DVD called “Can You 24?” & I LOVE it! I am seeing AMAZING results, in a VERY short amount of time! It is one of the BEST exercise DVD’s I have used & I’ve used a LOT of them over the years.

I also like to lift heavy weights when I can get into the gym & run/walk on the treadmill. I am working out right now 3-5 days a week. I typically do anywhere from 30 min’s to an hour.

Results of our 24 Day Challenge

Well I am officially down 10 pounds & over 6 inches after completing my 24 Day Challenge! My husband lost over 12 pounds & 8 inches overall. We are beyond excited! I just can’t get over how good I feel! These products are amazing!  I can honestly say I have never felt better in my life.  I guess that’s what superior nutrition does for the body!

And speaking of good nutrition, the OmegaPlex supplements we have been taking are amazing.  My husband was weeks away from having to have surgery on his wrist before starting on the OmegaPlex.  My knees ALWAYS hurt whenever I start exercising.  And after only taking the OmegaPlex for one week, my husband’s wrist quit hurting all together & my knee pain is GONE!  Dr. Oz actually had an independent lab test 30 different Omega 3 fatty acid pills & only two brands passed…Advocare’s OmegaPlex was one of them.

Oatmeal Pancakes

This is my own personal recipe for healthy oatmeal pancakes…

Grind 1/2 cup steel cut oats.

4 egg whites & 1/2 cup Nonfat plain Greek yogurt

1/4 tsp. of vanilla

1/4 tsp. of baking powder

Cinnamon to taste

A pinch of salt

Stir all ingredients together in bowl

Divide evenly into 6 pancakes

Cook on hot griddle…be careful not to burn them.

I love to add a T. of light whipped cream & some berries. Yum!

Serves two…three pancakes for each person. 211 calories & 19 g of protein per serving & very filling! This is definitely my go-to breakfast.  It has been one of the keys to my successful weightloss.  I love it!
